We are the only doctor-owned, multi-specialty clinic in the Shreveport area. By expanding to Bossier, we continue our mission of providing comprehensive healthcare. Our new Bossier clinic has an in-house pharmacy, so you can immediately pick up your prescription.
The clinic covers twelve specialties: Clinical allergy, asthma, and immunology treatment, internal medicine, optometry and ophthalmology, orthopaedics (or orthopedics), and sports medicine. This makes us your one-stop shop for most health and medical services.

Our history dates back to 1917, which is over 100 years. We started as the Highland Clinic Sanitarium in Shreveport, opened by J.A. Hendrick, MD. Our name comes from our original location on Highland Avenue.
In the 1950s, the current Highland Clinic was opened next to the Highland Hospital. We became a concierge provider in 2006, the first in the Ark-La-Tex region. Our philosophy is to continue to offer the same high-quality healthcare and to expand into new areas and specialties.
We provide all our patients with online access through the NextMD patient portal. You can request prescription refills, make appointments, and ask basic questions through the portal anytime.
