Sometimes, a hematologist-oncologist treats life-threatening symptoms, but we also improve the quality of life of people with milder issues such as fatigue or frequent bruising. We will work with your other doctors to ensure you get the treatment you need to live a healthy, full life.
We provide immunotherapy treatment, which can treat cancer without the same side effects of chemotherapy. We also offer access to counseling, support groups, and other mental health resources. A cancer diagnosis can be challenging for both the person diagnosed and their family, and we consider mental health to be part of a holistic approach to treatment.
